The longitudinal subspecialty rotation in the third year consists of twelve weeks of contemporaneous clinical training in physicians' offices in the specialties of Cardiology, Ophthalmology, ENT, Urology and Dermatology.

Ophthalmology

The ophthalmology is with one of the three town ophthalmologists and provides office-based, primary care ophthalmological teaching.

ENT

We are trained by our local otolaryngologists who provide good training in general ENT problems including microscopic examination and indications of tympanostomy tube placement, chronic sinusitis, and the work up for dizziness.

Dermatology

A local dermatologist, committed to teaching, welcomes residents for two weeks to learn appropriate screening, exam, and differential diagnoses for skin conditions.
