ISU Sponsored Event vs. External Organization

In general, when an event is classified as an official ISU-sponsored event, the utilization of facilities is offered at a discounted rate provided by the University. When ISU is renting space to an external organization ISU has a duty to charge for that use. Additionally, in order to receive the University rate, the invoice must be paid through a University Department index. The sponsoring ISU group will also be financially responsible for any damages which may occur.

Additional Fees:

  • Guest log-in for presenter is required for use of equipment. Please specify on reservation form.
  • IT support services: $50/hour
  • Interactive Video Conference Classrooms and connections may incur an additional fee.
  • Podium with speakers and microphone: $75
  • Portable monitors: $20/each
  • Set-up / Tear down: $25/hour
    • Additional charges may apply if room is not returned to its original set-up.
  • Custodial: $40/day
    • Charged if extraordinary cleaning is needed
    • Required when events involve catering
  • Parking: $6/vehicle per day
    • Parking passes are required for all vehicles at ISU Meridian
  • Security: $50/hour, when applicable.
