Mechanical and Measurement & Control Engineering

 

Graduate Programs

Mechanical and Measurement & Control Engineering offers two Master's programs within the department. The MMCE Faculty have varied research areas in the department including Controls Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, and Modeling & Simulation among others.

30 credit hours are required to complete the M.S. degree (at least 50% of the credits should be at the 6600 level). Approximately half of the credits are engineering and technical electives, subject to the approval of the student’s advisory committee. The Thesis (Guidelines) or Special Project should consist of study and research that complements the course work selected.

Research Facilities

Measurement & Control Engineering Research Center 10,000 sqft facility, including Aerospace, Biomedical, Controls, Energy, Structural, and Wind Tunnel laboratories. In addition, the Center is currently undergoing the construction of both a Fluid Mechanics and Thermal/Fluids laboratories. Location: Pocatello
