Ineligible for Federal Student Aid Notice
You are not eligible for federal student aid because you and/or one of your contributors (your spouse, your parent, or your parent's spouse) did not provide consent and approval to retrieve and disclose your/their federal tax information. With your/their consent and approval, the Federal Processor can obtain tax return information automatically from the IRS. You will need to log back into your FAFSA and select "Make a Correction" to provide your consent and approval, or if it's your spouse, your Parent or Parent's Spouse who did not provide their consent and approval, they will need to log into StudentAid.gov and select your FAFSA form from their dashboard, and select "Make a Correction" to provide their consent and approval. The correction(s) will be sent to the school once it's been processed by the federal processor.
