The Adult Success Center can help students who are preparing to get into college and need extra help with basic skills through the College Readiness program.
We offer the following services:
- Social Studies
- Online courses*
- Flexible schedules*
- Small class sizes
- Distance Learning*
*Based on certain criteria
English as a Second Language Courses (ESL):
- Beginning English
- Intermediate English
- Advanced English
GED/College or Career Readiness Requirements:
- Students must be at least 16 or older AND unenrolled from a K-12 program
- Complete orientation
- Day and evening options available
- Available at our outreach locations and libraries

- Meet minimum attendance requirements
- Complete a pre-test AND post-test
An assessment test named CASAS is given and a course of study is then determined by the scores and goals of the individual student.
We have Outreach centers that operate throughout southeastern Idaho.
Adult Education serves all of the counties in Region 5 of Southeastern Idaho. We have online classes and book learning options for individuals wanting to obtain their GED or college and career readiness. Please fill out the provided Distance Learning form if you are interested in our distance learning options. Distance learning can help students who live in Blackfoot, Soda Springs, American Falls, Aberdeen, Firth, Shelley, Montpelier, McCammon, Lava Hot Springs, Preston, Malad and other locations. Distance Learning can also be an option for people who have transportation and child care issues and who can't physically attend class.
