One-on-one or semi-private instruction for swimmers of all ages and abilities. Lessons are scheduled based on pool, instructor, and the participant availability.

How to Get Started
Complete our Google Form with your preferences. An instructor will reach out to schedule directly with you.
Private Lesson Fees
- $18 for 30 minutes
- $36 for 60 minutes
Pay at the Student Recreation Center Front Desk. We accept cash, Visa, Mastercard, Google Pay, or Apple Pay. Please arrive 5-10 minutes early to pay and bring your lesson slip to the pool.
Cancellations
If your swimmer is sick or you need to reschedule, notify your instructor as soon as possible. Repeated no-shows or rescheduling may result in dismissal.
Good to Know
- Pool temperature is ~85°F (deck ~78–80°F).
- Non-toilet-trained children must wear swim diapers (available for $2 at the front desk).
- Parents may observe private lessons from the deck or balcony.
- Rec Center members can bring dependent children for free during Family Hours.
