The Office of Marketing and Communications leads the strategic implementation and brand alignment of the University’s top-level outreach and marketing campaigns.
In addition to leading Idaho State’s overarching marketing efforts, our team is available to provide support and guidance for college and department-level marketing efforts. In coordination with the Strategic Marketing Team, the Office of Marketing and Communications is available to assist with developing marketing plans, placing paid advertising, and measuring the effectiveness of efforts. All marketing efforts need to have a target audience, clear goals, and key performance indicators.
Statewide Marketing Campaign
In 2019, Idaho State launched its first-ever comprehensive marketing campaign focused on building general awareness about the University. In Fall 2022, Idaho State entered the fourth phase of the statewide campaign, which specifically focuses on student recruitment. The Office of Marketing and Communications works closely with Enrollment Management to make sure the campaign is aligned with statewide data and strategically deploys resources. For example, Idaho counties that have growing populations and an increasing number of high school graduates will be a primary focus for content placement. Advertisements are scheduled to line up with recruitment events and outreach visits by the ISU Admissions team.
Campaign Assets and Collateral
The current phase of the marketing campaign includes out-of-home billboards, digital advertisements, and television commercials in both English and Spanish. Members of the campus community are welcome to share, post, and use the campaign assets in their University-connected promotional efforts.
