Program Description
ISU's College of Technology offers the nation's first hands-on Industrial Cybersecurity degree, preparing you to secure the systems that control power plants, oil & gas pipelines, and manufacturing facilities. In this program you learn to:
- Communicate with both industrial operations and IT personnel
- Ensure safety while performing work orders
- Maintain industrial control system device inventory
- Track evolving risks affecting industrial control systems
- Aid in conducting cyber security assessments
- Update industrial control systems software and firmware

Program Overview
- This program is currently filled on a first-come, first-served basis.
- Classroom hours in traditional program are Monday through Friday 8:00 am to 4:00 pm
- Classroom hours for students with a previous ESTEC degree are taught 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm Monday through Thursday
Degree Options
Students with no previous experience can complete the program in 2 years. Students with a previous associates degree in IT or an ESTEC field, can earn a second associates degree in one year.
