Parking & Getting There

Please park in the West Campus Central Parking lot (zone 9703) and use the Pay N Park Kiosk to pay for parking.

Parking is $3/hour.

• Event entrance: No stairs; direct access to the UAA's Lucy Cuddy Hall.
• Seating includes chairs without armrests, and tables have space for wheelchairs and walkers.

Meet Our Keynote Speaker, Dr. Brittany Howell

Britteny M. Howell, PhD, is Associate Professor & Chair of Health Sciences, Coordinator of the Occupational Endorsement Certificate in Gerontology, and Director of the Healthy Aging Research Laboratory at the University of Alaska Anchorage. She is a Credentialed Professional Gerontologist (CPG), a Certified Dementia Practitioner (CDP), and was recently awarded Fellow status through the Academy for Gerontology in Higher Education (FAGHE), one of the highest professional honors of membership for the Gerontological Society of America. She also serves as the Lead for the Alaska Satellite Center of the Colorado Center for Diabetes Translation Research.
