Official Carnegie Classification Seal for Idaho State University
In spring 2025, the Carnegie Foundation for the Advancement of Teaching and the American Council on Education released the updated 2025 Carnegie Classifications, which included redesigned Research Activity Designations. As part of that release, they classified Idaho State University as Research 2: High Spending and Doctorate Production.

Please note use of this seal is valid for the 2025 classifications only. Idaho State University's classification will remain in place until 2028.
