Staff Council Scholarship for Dependent Children of Staff
Idaho State University staff do a lot to keep our campus running, and the Staff Council is proud to support their families too. The Staff Council Scholarship for Dependent Children of Staff Endowment Fund helps the children of ISU employees pursue their own educational goals.
Who Can Apply
You may be eligible if you:
- Are a dependent child of a current ISU Classified or Non-Classified employee
- Are enrolled as a full-time student
- Have a cumulative GPA of 2.50 or higher
- Are pursuing any major, at any class level
Not sure whether you qualify? Check with your parent or parents to confirm their eligibility. You’ll also need their ISU hire date to complete your application, so it’s a good idea to get that ahead of time.
What to Know
- Financial need is a priority. Preference is given to students with financial need, so be sure to submit your FAFSA.
- An essay is required. This is your chance to share your story, your goals, and what a college education means to you.
- One award is made each year. The scholarship is awarded to one student until the endowment fund grows large enough to cover full tuition. Every gift to the fund brings that goal closer.
