The Art program provides a strong foundation in creative practice while encouraging innovation and artistic expression. Through hands-on learning and creative exploration, students can pursue visual art as a profession or a lifelong passion.
Music
Whether you want a career in music or just the pleasure of performing or listening, there are courses of interest for you at ISU. The Department of Music offers a variety of music degrees and a music minor.
Theatre and Dance
The ISU Theatre and Dance division within the School of Arts provides a well-rounded curriculum that is both foundational and innovative. The program is structured to provide a rich curriculum enabling ISU students to pursue theatre as a profession or an avocation.

The School of the Arts strives to be a leader in art, music, theatre, and dance education for the Intermountain West.
In our departments, we consistently endeavor to:
