Office of Orientation and New Student Programs
Congratulations on your enrollment at Idaho State University
We are excited that you are joining our ISU family!
We realize that the transition to a university comes with many questions. Our New Student Orientation (NSO) programs are designed to uncover the answers to those questions and to provide you with campus programs and services to support your transition. By the end of NSO, you will be on your way to building a network of resources that will help on your journey to completing your degree.
New Student Orientation consists of two steps: an Online Pre-Orientation Program followed by a live New Student Orientation program at each ISU campus.
**COVID-19 UPDATES: New Student Orientation will be following ISU protocols regarding any closures affecting our intended schedule. More updates will be added. We have temporarily suspended our RSVP links. Pre-Orientation modules should still be completed using the link below. **
The Pre-Orientation courses are required of all entering freshmen and transfer students. Complete the Pre-Orientation courses by logging into BengalWeb and going to University Resources. Information related to the module will also be emailed to students directly at their ISU email address. You will need your ISU login and password to sign in. Contact firstname.lastname@example.org or 208-282-4357 if you need assistance logging into BengalWeb. For questions specifically regarding the courses, please contact New Student Programs at email@example.com or 208-282-4588.
New Student Orientation (the live program held at each campus) is required of all incoming new freshmen entering ISU in the Fall Semester of 2020. These programs are designed to support the academic and social transition of our newest Bengals into the ISU family. Attendees will interact with Orientation Leaders, enjoy meals with faculty, and learn more about student support services of ISU. New Student Orientation also includes Advising and Registration of your fall semester courses. Freshmen will leave the program knowing their fall courses and will be able to order books.
