POCATELLO ­– After months of preparation, the Idaho State University Center for Entrepreneurship and Economic Development/U.S. Bank Pitch-Off Contest was held in December in the Pond Student Union Ballroom.

Jan. 26 Fishing Derby at Sportsman’s Park at American Falls Reservoir Features $500 First Prize for Trout, $250 for Perch

POCATELLO – A fishing derby running 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 26, at Sportsman’s Park on the west side of American Falls Reservoir near Aberdeen features a $500 first-place prize for the largest trout and a $250 first-place prize for the largest perch.

ISU Bengal debate wins in close-out tournament

POCATELLO ­– Idaho State University’s ISU’s Rupp Debate Society team quickly delivered a tournament-halting 12-0 winning streak, eliminating the need for semi-final rounds and resulting in a ‘close-out’ win at the Climb Online Invitational on Sunday, Dec. 9.

Split decisions: Idaho State University debaters claim online honors

POCATELLO – Idaho State University’s Rupp Debate Society debaters narrowly missed the top berth Sunday at the Climb the Mountain Online Debate Tournament.  Bengal Debaters delivered second place in the final round of International Parliamentary Debate, and secured fifth place in the quarter finals as well.
