Friends Of Oboler Library Membership

Mission:

Friends Of Oboler Library provide critical support for the collections and services of the Eli M. Oboler Library at Idaho State University. The Friends group fosters closer relationships between the community and the Libraries; promotes knowledge of the Libraries' functions, resources, services and needs; aids in the improvement of the Libraries' resources and services; and provides a medium through which members and others may become acquainted with each other, share their enthusiasm for libraries, and participate in and contribute to the success of the Idaho State University Libraries.

 

Member Benefits:

  • Receipt of Foolscap, the Fool newsletter, and Between the Lines, the Library newsletter.
  • Invitation to Special Events sponsored or co-sponsored by Friends Of Oboler Library or the Library, the fall and spring celebrations of libraries and intellectual freedom.
  • Invitation to the Annual Friends Business meeting and election of board members.
  • Idaho State University Libraries Friends' borrowing card providing expanded borrowing privileges based on level of support.
  • Life Membership for Librarian's Council.
