Currently there is no cost to the district.

Only at the time of installation, to help provide a network connection. Voltstar, the vendor installing the equipment, will also provide remote support for the equipment for 3 years past the installation date.

The screens are on two mobile carts and can be moved to multiple locations. The screens also can be placed up against a wall when not in use. Rooms off a library or office have been utilized and a room that a teacher uses less frequently in the day have also been used.

Yes, we strongly encourage staff, faculty, and community members to utilize the equipment based on availability and accessibility.  Community ed programs and courses can be provided with the equipment.

The equipment can be used for other educational purposes.

Yes! We encourage the use of the equipment and classes in your community.

Courses avaialble to students are sent to the school counselors. Other distance learning ISU classes are available on our website.

ISU does not require an aide or teacher in the room.

The number of 'seats' are limited and on a first-come first-serve basis. When all the seats are full, the class closes.

The same bandwidth as a laptop or computer.

An active and working network port is highly preferred. Hardwiring provides significantly better reception compared to wireless connections.
