ISU Counseling and Testing Center (CATS)
Free counseling is available to students dealing with a variety of concerns and conditions, including gender identity and sexual orientation support. In 2018, ISU Counseling received the Association for Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender Issues in Counseling (ALGBTIC) 2018 Conference Award for demonstrating a commitment to LGBTQIA+ awareness and affirmation.

Dr. Jessica Rolynn offers hormone replacement therapy and transgender healthcare as well as affirming healthcare for LGBTQ+ individual within the community. Health West offers a sliding scale and free HIV testing.
