Promotional Items Bulk Purchasing Process
The Office of Marketing and Communications is implementing a streamlined process that creates economic efficiencies by capitalizing on the purchasing power of ordering in bulk for frequently used promotional items. The goal is to reduce costs for everyone participating in the order while also selecting products that represent the university well. Items will be selected based on a balance between quality and price.
Everyone joining the order will receive the same items. For example, when ordering pens or lapel pins, they will all be the same style.
To create a bulk order and take advantage of the associated price discounts, all branding will be for Idaho State University and no secondary logos or other designs will be used.

Requests for items ordered in bulk may be made, but are dependent upon adequate interest.
Bulk Ordering Process
Since not every item will be available for bulk ordering at each interval, specific items for each round will be announced in Idaho State Today one month in advance.
To participate in the bulk ordering process, the Promotional Items Bulk Purchase Request Form will be available for two weeks during each ordering interval.
- Units may order at any time throughout the year, understanding that the price available through bulk orders is only available at the time of bulk ordering.
- For example, if pens are ordered at a different time, the prices will be specific to that order.
- Reminder: Any purchases that use Idaho State University marks or branding must be purchased through a licensed vendor.
