Welcome to the ISU ITS Information Security page!
The Information Security (ISEC) team is responsible for ensuring the security and integrity of ISU's computer systems, networks and electronic data. This includes managing intrusion detection systems, monitoring data flows, initiating system vulnerability audits and risk assessments, securing data transmissions (using encryption when needed), providing incident response including mitigation and forensic analysis, and maintaining identity management and access control systems. The team also conducts ongoing security research and security awareness training and works with with campus governance bodies to recommend and implement appropriate security policies and procedures.
If you have any security related questions or concerns, please contact the IT Service Desk at (208)282-HELP(4357), or visit the new TigerTracks -- a place to find answers, or to ask for help.
