Our mission is to increase pollinator habitat and native species of the Portneuf Valley through education, demonstration gardens, community involvement, and collaboration between various civic organizations that understand the vital nature of pollinator habitat.

Unity Trail Portneuf Greenway Pollinator Planting | Meeting the first Wednesday of every month; Portneuf Medical Center front entrance; 4:30 p.m. Anyone from the public is welcome to come! You can actively participate as much or as little as you would like.
- January - Develop a draft plan for legs between the Hospital Trailhead and the Children's Clinic Area
- February - Develop a draft plan for the area behind the Children's Clinic
- March - Develop a draft plan for the Franklin (Idaho Power) Trailhead area and identify tasks for the Poky day of service
- April - Implement parts of the plan during the Poky day of service
How to Grow Native Plants Using the Winter Sowing Method | Would you like to enhance your outdoor space with vibrant native plants in your flower bed or patio container? This class will cover how to grow your own native plants from seed. “Winter sowing” is an easy, affordable technique that produces hardy seedlings which can be planted outside. We will provide a container, potting soil, and a selection of native seeds to plant, giving you a hands-on experience.
