About the Mountain West Journal of Pharmacy (MWJP)

Pharmacy professionals across Idaho and Alaska frequently engage in innovative research and quality improvement initiatives. Historically, the reach of these efforts has been limited by the constraints of in-person conference presentations. The MWJP serves as an online platform to overcome these barriers, offering a broader dissemination opportunity for ideas that advance pharmacy.

We are proudly presented by the Idaho State University L.S. Skaggs College of Pharmacy’s Center for Advancing Pharmacy Practice and Research Excellence (CAPPRE). We operate in collaboration with the Idaho Society of Health-System Pharmacy (ISHP), the Idaho Pharmacy Research and Education Foundation (IPREF), and the Alaska Pharmacy Association (AKPhA). Our ultimate goal is to facilitate the convenient review of novel work, driving practice advancements and shared learning across the region.
