Andrew Baker, DO1-2 Program Resident in Rexburg, Idaho Dr. Andrew Baker is a native to Pocatello, Idaho where he grew up in an awesome family of 10. He attended Pocatello High School and was involved in scouting, tennis, and choir. After high school, he served as a missionary for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Argentina where he learned to speak Spanish and grew to love the Latino culture. Following his mission he attended Brigham Young University-Idaho where he studied Exercise Physiology. He then studied and received a master's degree in Medical Health Sciences from Touro University – Nevada. After a year of working in between school, he and his family moved to West Virginia to attend West Virginia School of Osteopathic Medicine. They loved their time in the Appalachian Mountains but are excited to return to Pocatello to be close to family and friends. Dr. Baker loves helping others and is excited to assist future patients understand and navigate through their health concerns. In his free time, he loves to spend time with his wife and 4 children. They love their pizza and movie nights, bike rides, hiking, reading/listening to books together, playing games, dance parties in the living room, and just spending time together. Dr. Baker will be training in Pocatello and Rexburg and feels excited and blessed to stay in Southeastern Idaho to practice family medicine.

Cody Cunningham, DODr. Cody Cunningham was born and raised in Southeast Idaho, went to Brigham Young University – Idaho for his undergraduate education, and completed his medical education at Pacific Northwest University of Health Sciences in Washington. He and his wife have three children and enjoy camping, ATV riding, paddle boarding, movie nights, board games, and just spending time together. He is also an avid hunter, snowmobiler, weight lifter, and enjoys getting his hands dirty with some hammer, nails, and a big project every once in a while. Dr. Cunningham and his family are excited to join Pocatello community. He is passionate about family medicine and plans to practice in a small Mountain West town.

Marie Elwood, MDDr. Marie Elwood knew she wanted to be a physician from the age of 14. Before medical school, she enjoyed working as an editor, a chocolatier, a CNA, a medical researcher and a stay-at-home mom for her 7 awesome kids! She was raised in Elko, Nevada, in a huge family, and she has lived most of her adult life in Billings, Montana. She attended the University Of Washington School Of Medicine where she completed the Targeted Rural and Underserved Health Track and the Native American Health Track. Her Bachelor's Degree is in Psychology from the University of Southern California. She also earned a Master's Degree in Entomology from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. Dr. Elwood is passionate about Women's Health, Intimate Partner Violence Prevention, Rural Health Care, Suicide Prevention, Geriatrics, and Ethnobotany/ Traditional healing. She also has a special place in her heart for children and adults with autism and is an advocate for persons with disabilities. She enjoys spending time with her kids, reading, dining out, and clobbering her husband at Ping-Pong.

Tyler Kunz, DODr. Tyler Kunz was born and raised in St. Anthony, Idaho. His adolescent years were spent moving pipe, playing team sports in school, and making memories with his family. He served a 2-year proselyting mission to New York City where he learned Spanish and ultimately decided that he wanted to return to small town life and practice medicine. Tyler went to BYU-Idaho for his undergraduate degree, completed a master’s degree in Washington State, and attended medical school at Rocky Vista University in Ivins, Utah. Outside of the clinic or hospital, Tyler can be found with his three boys and wife in the mountains - either hiking, mountain biking, or horseback riding. Tyler also enjoys smoking meat, dirt biking, skiing and golfing. He plans to practice full-spectrum family medicine in a rural mountain community with an emphasis on lifestyle and preventative medicine. |

Jesse Noe, MDDr. Jesse Noe graduated from Meharry Medical College in Nashville, TN. Born and raised in a small town in Tennessee, he has a deep fondness and passion for rural medicine. He loves Family Medicine because he enjoys helping patients from all walks of life, from children to pregnant mothers to the elderly. In his free time, Jesse loves beating his wife and kids at Mario Kart, trying to get his 3D printer to work, and fighting MI6 secret agents as the Bond villain Dr. No.

Colton Phippen, DODr. Phippen started life in California but has spent most of his time in Salt Lake City, where he did undergrad at the University of Utah and studied Comparative Literary and Cultural studies. During and after undergrad, he worked as a psych tech and case manager at the U of U’s Neuropsychiatric institute. He went to medical school at Michigan State University and enjoyed engaging in Neurodevelopmental research as well as providing healthcare to people experiencing homelessness in the area. He did his clinical rotations in Detroit and after being in the Midwest for 4 years, he’s pretty stoked to be back in the mountain west. He has a strong interest in mental health in the primary care setting as well as hospice and palliative care, wilderness medicine and is passionate about serving underserved populations including refugees, migrant workers and LatinX communities. He loves to rock climb, ski, fly fish, go canyoneering, skateboarding, reading a variety of books, listening to and playing music, film (especially Swedish cinema) and learning more about cultures and languages and travel as much as possible. |

Darya Skrenes, MDDr. Darya Skrenes comes to ISU from St. George’s University School of Medicine. Darya grew up in remote British Columbia and has lived in various countries including South Africa, Ghana, Grenada and Australia. With her love for full-spectrum medicine and passion to travel, Darya hopes to work in underserved communities and work intermittently with Doctors Without Boarders in Africa. She enjoys almost any sport, the outdoors, spending time with friends and family, and is an avid doubles beach volleyball player. |

Sheldon Wernick, MDDr. Wernick was born and raised in the open spaces and mountains of Wyoming. He graduated from the University of Wyoming with work in physiology. Life’s plan initially led him down the path of law enforcement. Over the span of five years, work as a peace officer provided him with skills he uses everyday as a physician. Dr. Wernick transitioned into medicine with a perspective well suited to serve a primary care role. He set sail for the Caribbean and graduated medical school from St. George’s University. After much time away from the mountain west, he is back home and thrilled to train and eventually practice broad-spectrum family medicine in outpatient clinic and emergency room settings along with engaging special interests in sports medicine. Outside of work, his pursuits and passions include snowmobiling, fly fishing, physical fitness, and plans for raising a family in the mountains. |

Harrison Hoskins, PharmDHarrison Hoskins is from Blackfoot, Idaho. After serving 6 years in the US Army, Harrison began his undergraduate studies at Idaho State University, where he also graduated with his Doctorate in Pharmacy. Harrison’s professional passions involve disease prevention and management, internal medicine, and academia. A primary care setting in Pocatello allows Harrison to develop meaningful relationships with patients and providers alike and give back to a community that he has grown up in most of his life. During summertime, you’ll find Harrison outdoors golfing, working out, or reading. In the winter months he enjoys watching movies and keeping up with all things sports related.

Amy Sutherland, MEdAmy Sutherland is a doctoral candidate in Clinical Psychology from Antioch University New England. She completed her bachelor’s degree at Wellesley College, her M.Ed. at Boston College, and her MS at Antioch University New England. She has worked in a science fiction and fantasy bookstore, taught 7th grade, and homeschooled her own child. She is passionate about providing individualized, respectful care to clients across the lifespan, and is particularly interested in working as part of an interdisciplinary team to deliver care in a way that feels safe, accessible, and welcoming to people who might have felt excluded from mental healthcare services in the past. Rylan Anderson, DODr. Rylan Anderson graduated from Rocky Vista University. He was born and raised in Gunnison, Utah, where he spent much of his time working on the farm and playing sports. After high school, he served a 2-year mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Milan, Italy. He then studied biology at Snow College and Southern Utah University. He met and married his wife during medical school and together, share a love for the outdoors and serving others. They plan on settling in the mountain west where they can raise a family and he can practice rural family medicine. He and his wife spend much of their free time with family, playing sports, or in the mountains where they enjoy hunting, fishing and dirt-biking. Smita Armstrong, MDDr. Smita Armstrong graduated from the University of Arizona - Tucson College of Medicine. She has an interest in Behavioral Health and Preventative Medicine. In her free time she enjoys hiking, cooking and watching action movies.

Bo Dayton, DO1-2 Program Resident in Rexburg, Idaho Dr. Bo Dayton was born and raised in Rexburg, Idaho. Upon graduating from high school, he completed a two-year service mission in Ecuador where he learned Spanish and grew to love the latino people and culture. Upon returning from Ecuador he attended BYU—Idaho where he completed a degree in Exercise Physiology. His time spent studying the human body led him to pursue a medical degree at the Idaho College of Osteopathic Medicine. Dr. Dayton is passionate about rural family medicine, where he can provide quality medical care to those in need and establish life-long relationships. He has aspirations of practicing in rural Idaho upon graduation. Outside of medicine, Dr. Dayton enjoys playing basketball, golf, and spending time outdoors with his wife and three spunky girls.

Dominic "Nico" Haragos, MDDr. Nico Haragos was born and raised in Nampa, Idaho and comes from a largeRomanian family. In total he has 18 aunts and uncles and he absolutely loves having a big family. He would say that his family is probably the largest motivator for him to become a Family Medicine doctor. Being from Idaho, he enjoys the outdoors and playing sports. He met his wife through playing volleyball and it has been a favorite past time of theirs. They also enjoy playing pickleball. He is so happy to be part of the ISU Family Medicine Residency. He doesn't think there could have been a better match for him. |

Brigham Hardy, DODr. Brigham Hardy graduated from Idaho College of Osteopathic Medicine. He received his bachelors from BYU-Idaho in human biology. He is fascinated by the human body and its resilience and ability to heal. He chose Family Medicine so that he could help his patients and their families live their life to the fullest. He hopes to practice in Idaho treating patients of all ages and backgrounds. He has a special interest in osteopathic manipulation and preventive medicine. In his free time he is camping with his family, trial running, and swimming.

Landon Hillebrant, MD.Dr. Landon Hillebrant graduated from Ross University School of medicine. He was born and raised in southeast Idaho. He graduated from Brigham Young University Idaho with a bachelor's degree in public health. Prior to college he spent two years in Peru as a missionary where he became fluent in Spanish and saw firsthand the consequences of poor health care. And his passion to become a physician was born. He married a girl from Kansas City who he met while attending college. They now have three rambunctious boys. Dr. Hillebrant is proud to be from Idaho and plans to practice Broad full spectrum family medicine in Idaho after residency. He loves being outside playing with his boys, fly fishing, boating, snowboarding, barbecuing/smoking meat. |

Ryan Hudgens, DODr. Ryan Hudgens graduated from Pacific Northwest University College of Osteopathic Medicine after completing an undergraduate degree at the University of Utah. He is passionate about rural family medicine and excited about the many opportunities that ISUFM and Pocatello have to offer. Zachary "Zach" Nelson, DO1-2 Program Resident in Rupert, Idaho Dr. Zach Nelson graduated from Idaho College of Osteopathic Medicine—ICOM. He hails from Ucon, Idaho. Family medicine is his passion due to its wide scope of practice. He is interested in the challenges and options that a Family Physician can have in providing a breadth of care in differing circumstances. In his free time, you’ll find Zach spending time with his wife and four children, playing basketball, hiking, reading a book with a cat on his lap, and spending time outside.

Michael Mills, DODr. Michael Mills was raised in a farming community in rural Arizona and attended Northern Arizona University before working a few years in an emergency department in Fargo, North Dakota. He returned to the valley of the sun where he completed his medical education at Midwestern University Glendale.He is excited to pursue his passion promoting holistic health throughout the lifetime and to strengthen his skills in addiction medicine and wilderness medicine. Outside of patient care, you can find him hiking the trails around Pocatello, rock climbing, backpacking, or enjoying the surrounding national parks. |

Mary Cutright, PharmDMary Cutright completed her Doctor of Pharmacy degree at Idaho State University. She originally comes from Fresno, CA where she worked as an aircraft mechanic on firefighting helicopters for 6 years. Life ultimately led her to the Marsh Valley area where her husband could be close to his family. Mary has an interest in rural medicine and a passion for learning. She hopes to develop her skills as a clinical pharmacist to best help her future patients. In her free time, you can catch her traveling with her family, paddleboarding, being outside, or just relaxing at home. |

Kristen Caldwell, PharmDKristen Caldwell was born and raised in Parma, Idaho. Her mother inspired her to join the healthcare field with the work and relationships she observed with her mom and her patients. This led her to follow her passion for healthcare at ISU College of Pharmacy. She is eager to establish meaningful connections with patients and assist them in achieving their healthcare goals. As for life outside work she is a devoted cat lover with two cats Oreo and Griffith. Shaylor Bringhurst, DODr. Shaylor Bringhurst was raised in McKinney, TX. He attended Brigham Young University, where he received a degree in Exercise Science after discovering his preference for medicine over engineering during a pivotal biology class. Shaylor spent two years in Chile, where he became fluent in Spanish. Since then, he has enjoyed going on medical missions to underserved areas of Central America. He graduated from VCOM-Louisiana and loved his medical school experience in the South, but now looks forward to laying down roots in Idaho. Shaylor's aspiration is to practice full-scope family medicine in a quiet place somewhere in the West. Weston Burrup, DODr. Weston Burrup was born and raised in Lewiston, Idaho. He graduated with a degree in Physiology and Developmental Biology from BYU-Utah and then attended A.T. Still University School of Osteopathic Medicine in Mesa, Arizona. Prior to his education, he served as a missionary for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Orange County, California where he learned Spanish. He is passionate about being able to provide medical services in Spanish and has spent extra time during his educational years receiving further training in medical Spanish. While in medical school, he also spent an extra year in developing advanced skills in Osteopathic Manipulative Treatment (OMT) in order to be able to provide an additional treatment option for his patients. On a personal level, Dr. Burrup is married to his sweetheart from Alaska and has enjoyed being able to show her Idaho. They have one daughter with more kids likely forthcoming. When they can, they enjoy fly fishing and spending time in the great outdoors. |

Bethany Gold, DO1-2 Program Resident in Rupert, Idaho Doctor Bethany Gold is passionate about living life to its fullest and helping others to do the same. She was raised in a small town in Idaho, where she learned to love the outdoors. She enjoys staying active through hiking, biking, skiing, weight training and walking with her dog. Growing up in a small town also allowed her to know her neighbors and begin to recognize the value of relationships. Dr. Gold comes to the Idaho State University Family Medicine Residency as a graduate of the Idaho College of Osteopathic Medicine. Nathan Hammer, DODr. Nathan Hammer was born and raised in Kalispell, Montana. He completed his undergraduate education at Montana State University, where he met his wife, Emma. He attended medical school at Rocky Vista University in Parker, Colorado. Outside of medicine, Nathan enjoys powerlifting, golfing, and playing with the family French Bulldog, Hazelnut. After finishing residency, he plans to practice rural family medicine in the Mountain West. |

Braeden Leiby, MDDr. Braeden Leiby was born and raised in Pocatello, Idaho. He graduated from Idaho State University with a Bachelor of Science in sport & exercise science. He earned his medical degree from the University of Washington School of Medicine. His research interests to date include ultrasound-guided treatment for carpal tunnel syndrome, orthobiologic treatment to treat common non-operative musculoskeletal conditions, and the influence of hypothyroidism in slipped capital femoral epiphysis. In addition to preventive care, he is interested in sports medicine to care for athletes and the general population and ultrasound as a diagnostic aid and for procedure guidance. In his spare time, he loves spending time with his family (wife, daughter, and 2 dogs), skiing, waterfowl hunting, golfing, exercising, and watching football and baseball. He is excited to be back home to serve the community that shaped him into who he is today. |

Nicholas "Nick" Longe, DODr. Nicholas Longe grew up in Salt Lake City, Utah where he developed a great love of the outdoors. He grew up exploring the surrounding mountains where he loves to ski, bike, ride horses, and camp. He went to college in Baltimore at Johns Hopkins University, where he majored in chemical engineering, before attending Rocky Vista University in Southern Utah, where he did a teaching fellowship in Osteopathic Manipulative Medicine. While at school, he met his lovely wife, and they were married in 2023. Dr. Longe is excited about preventative medicine and musculoskeletal medicine, helping patients to be able to do the things they enjoy for as long as possible. |

Luke Richards, DODr. Luke Richards was raised on a dairy farm in Erda, Utah. He received a bachelor's in exercise science at Utah Valley University then graduated from Rocky Vista University. He hopes to return to a small community where he can practice rural family medicine including surgical obstetrics. He is married to a wonderful wife and together they are raising three beautiful children. His hobbies include working out, pickleball, and playing cornhole on boards he recently built. |

Evan Tayler, DODr. Evan Tayler was born and raised in the Heber Valley, Utah. He graduated from the University of Utah where he majored in Spanish Language and a minor in history. During undergrad, he met his wife Brooklyn, a Las Vegas native. He attended medical school at PNWU in Yakima, Washington. He plans on practicing full-scope family medicine in a rural community where they can enjoy easy access to the great outdoors and all of its recreational opportunities. He is an avid cyclist and skier but enjoys any activity that gets him outside with his family. |
