Interactive Narrative

Students will learn the basics of how to plan and tell interactive narratives, as well as some of the potential uses for them within Digital Media, Educational, and Storytelling outlets. If desired, this course can be conducted as “hands-on" in a computer laboratory, allowing students to begin the actual construction of the narratives.

Polling 101

Students will be introduced to the basics of creating a survey, including question wording, question order, dimensions and indices, and data collection. Students will also learn to spot "bad data" and faulty polling results. A useful course for anyone teaching or involved with gathering social science and opinion data.

Writing & Designing for the Web

This program introduces the fundamentals of web layout, navigation, and content creation. Emphasis will be placed on converting static content to responsive, flexible formats.
