Padma has an extensive background in anatomy and physiology, graduating from medical school with top honors, and subsequently working as a health care provider, health policy advocate, and clinical researcher in and around the Treasure Valley for many years. In addition to her medical training, Padma earned her MHS (Master in Health Sciences) from Boise State University and has been an integral part of TVAPL since January 2017. Padma is an active member of the American Association of Clinical Anatomists (AACA) and its Career Development Committee (CDC).
