Program Costs

The costs associated with the Sign Language Studies and Sign Language Interpreting programs include tuition, ongoing fees and one-time fees. Program specific professional fees are listed below. Please visit the Financial Services website for additional tuition information.

Idaho State University also participates in the Western Undergraduate Exchange (WUE), for undergraduate academic or applied technology students. 

There is a one-time $100 new student orientation fee; this fee is charged to all students when they first attend Idaho State University. For more information regarding this fee, please contact ISU Financial Services at stufees@isu.edu or 208-282-2900.

The Department of Communication Sciences & Disorders undergraduate courses are subject to course fees. These funds are restricted in their use to the specific class for which they are assessed. Course fees are posted on the ISU Class Schedule each semester.

Sign Language Studies and Sign Language Interpreting fees for Fall 2024 - Summer 2025 (does not include tuition):

Sign Language Studies: 1151, 1152, 2251 and 2252 have a fee of $117.50
 
There are also assessed eISU fees of $20 per credit hour for online courses.
 
Sign Language Interpreting courses (3000 and 4000 level): $162 per credit hour.
