Idaho State Mourns the Loss of Nancy Cheadle-Winberg

Audiology faculty member Nancy Cheadle-Winberg passed away July 17, 2022.  At just 38 years old, Nancy made an incredible impact on the students, faculty, staff and patients she interacted with during her time at ISU. She leaves behind a legacy of professionalism and passion within the field of audiology, along with an incredible love for animals.

Institute of Rural Health to Receive Grant for Suicide Prevention

Marjorie Montanus, clinical assistant professor in Medical Laboratory Science, passed away June 27. She will be dearly missed by not just the faculty, staff and students in the Medical Laboratory  program, but by the entire Idaho State community.

Kasiska Family Foundation Gives $1 Million to Establish Scholarship Endowment

With a decades-long tradition of giving, the Kasiska Family Foundation has gifted nearly $20 million to Idaho State University. Most recently, a gift of $1 million was presented to ISU in early May. This latest contribution creates the Eva Kasiska Scholarship Endowment and will provide scholarships for students studying health professions at ISU now and into the future.
