A Message from the Office of the Dean of Students
April 6, 2026
Welcome back from break Bengal Community! We know the last few weeks of this semester are going to go quickly, and the staff in the Dean of Students Office wants to remind everyone of the many resources our office can offer.
- Our Student Care and Assistance Coordinator, Lesa Crawford is knowledgeable about resources both on and off-campus. She can provide information to anyone with concerns about access to food, can connect students to resources that aid in building study skills, share recommendations for other resources, and provide general support.
- We know that Bengals CARE about Bengals. If you see someone who is having a hard time, if you are struggling and don’t know where to begin asking for help, please fill out Report a Concern Form. The Dean of Students Office reviews all reports and contacts those who might benefit from some caring outreach.
- The Dean of Students Office provides several trainings about the campus CARE Team, Dean of Students Office 101, and more. These presentations are great for student clubs, departments, committees, etc. If you are interested in having us visit you, please fill out a Request a Presentation Form.
- We love to be brainstorming and thought partners for students, staff and faculty working through difficult issues, and we are happy to talk through options and provide suggestions.
The Dean of Students Office is a resource for all. Please come visit us, call us at 208-282-2794, email us at deanofstudents@isu.edu, or visit our website for more information. If you don’t have any immediate needs, please consider saving our links as bookmarks for future questions. We wish you all a successful finish to this spring semester and look forward to seeing you around campus!
