Arconexiones ISU Spanish Graduate Student Conference

The Arconexiones Conference is coming up on Saturday, February 10, 9:30 a.m. - 4 p.m. This is the inaugural conference of the ISU Spanish MA students. The event is VIRTUAL, FREE, and OPEN to everyone to attend as audience (undergraduates, graduate students, professors, members of the community). There will be student presentations about their investigations in the fields of cultural studies and Hispanic literature, a round table that tackles the topic of "the post-MA", and a keynote talk given by Professor Gibette Encarnación addressing literature about the border conflict between Haiti and the Dominican Republic. A detailed program for the schedule of events will be sent to those who register.

¡Se acerca la Conferencia Arconexiones! Esta es la conferencia inaugural de los estudiantes de maestría en español de ISU. El evento es VIRTUAL, GRATIS, y ABIERTO a todxs para asistir como audiencia (estudiantes de licenciatura (undergraduates), estudiantes de posgrado, profesores, miembros de la comunidad). Habrá ponencias estudiantiles sobre sus investigaciones en el campo de los estudios culturales y la literatura hispana, una mesa redonda que aborda el tema de "la pos-maestría", y una plenaria dada por la profesora Gibette Encarnación sobre la literatura del conflicto fronterizo entre Haití y la República Dominicana. Un programa detallado de los eventos del día se mandará a los que se registren.
