Pianos available for purchase at the ISU piano sale

April 22, 2019

It is once again that time of the year for our annual ISU piano sale.

The Music Department has had the benefit of using new upright, grand and digital pianos loaned to us at no cost as part of a national educational loan program provided by Yamaha, Kawai and Piano Gallery.

At the end of the academic year, we sell them, and you have the opportunity to purchase one of these pianos at a fraction of their retail value. We are asking for your consideration to help perpetuate this program.

There will be upwards of 100+ instruments available.  Select from used Steinway and Schimmel grands, used pianos under $500.00, Kawai and Yamaha uprights, Yamaha Disklaviers, Clavinovas, and PianoDisc player pianos, and more all substantially discounted.

NOTE:  There are two ways to purchase these pianos

1)     For a private appointment, call 208-232-2559; you may preview / purchase a piano during your appointment. All pianos will be available for purchase to alumni and ISU faulty-staff before the public sale.  Your best selection is through this option.

2)     You may otherwise attend the public sale, Friday, May 10t from 1 p.m. to 8 p.m. or Saturday, May 11 from  10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Stephens Performing Arts Center located on the ISU campus in Pocatello.

Having quality instruments is essential for our educational mission.  With this in mind, we ask that if you are in the market for a piano, you might consider the purchase of one through this sale.
