Become a Member of the Bengal Marching Band

The ISU Bengal Marching Band joins the Winds, Drums, Colorguard, and Bengal Dancers to perform at ISU Football and community events.

Students should enroll in MUSP 1179 for 1 credit. All current students (full time/12 credits) and have a GPA over 2.0 are eligible for scholarship.

Community members may also be a part of the Bengal Marching Band with a firm commitment to attending all rehearsals and performances.  There is no monetary benefit for participation of non-students.

The Band meets MWF from 12-2pm in Holt Arena.  On game day Saturdays, plan on all-day events.  We typically rehearse for 90 minutes in the morning, play for the team at 11am, and football games usually begin at 1pm.

The ISU Bengal Band Camp begins about a week before classes begin.  Band Camp is mandatory for all members.  Some meals are provided and on-campus housing is available for the week.

The Bengal Marching Band typically does 3-4 different shows per year.  By the end of camp, we will have Pre-Game and have started our first halftime show.

There is still time to join!  Contact Dr. Kloss TODAY!!

2023 Band camp begins on August 11 (Drumline) and 12 (Everyone).
