Volunteers sought for October 9 Indigenous Peoples Day

On October 9, 2023, the Office of Equity and Inclusion and Native American Student Services (NASS) will host the fifth annual Indigenous Peoples Day on our ISU campus!

This event is a day-long teach-in for Community, Students, Faculty, Staff, and Administration, dedicated to Indigenous health and wellbeing through culture, community, and connection.

We need your help to make this event a success. We are seeking volunteers for various roles. Whether you can volunteer for 1 hour or for the day and would prefer to participate as a greeter, a guide, or a moderator, we want you. We need you. To ensure you feel comfortable in your role, we will also offer a Volunteer Training Day before the event. You can also contact the Diversity Resource Center  at (208) 282-3142 or drc@isu.edu if you need more information. Sign up using the IPD Fall 2023 Volunteer Form.

On behalf of the Office of Equity and Inclusion and the IPD 2023 team, thank you for your willingness to support our Native American students!
