Welcome!
New Student Orientation is designed to promote successful individual development through informative presentations and small group discussions. The program will introduce new students to administrators, faculty, and staff members who will provide you with information about the University. This is an important step in a student’s transition to Idaho State University. We strongly encourage you to attend and actively participate in this program.
The program provides a critical knowledge base for understanding how to make a successful transition to the University community. New students benefit from exposure to the values and behaviors that will be expected in the University environment.
Attending New Student Orientation will provide an opportunity for new students to meet and listen to experienced University personnel who will share valuable insight into the University culture and answer questions about campus life.
