Give Your Moodle Course a Checkup

Is your Moodle ISU course accessible?  Would you like to receive feedback on your course from a student perspective?  Have you looked at the alignment in your course?

The ITRC will give your Moodle course a checkup through three different mini-reviews as part of an ongoing process to improve course design and ensure that courses are accessible for all students.  Faculty only need to request one or all three reviews for their course and then wait for the results.  This will help maximize faculty time and improve Moodle courses.  The following three mini-reviews are available:

  • Accessibility Review
  • Alignment Review
  • Student Review

Accessibility Review: Your materials will be reviewed and converted/modified to make them accessible. By making simple adjustments in your courses and implementing Universal Design for Learning principles, your content can be made accessible for all students regardless of disabilities, language barriers, and/or learning styles.

Alignment Review: Your course objectives, materials, activities, assessments, and technology will be reviewed for alignment.  You will be provided with an alignment map and suggestions for improvement.

Student Review: You will receive a report from a student perspective on 23 of the Quality Matters standards along with suggestions for improvement.

The nice thing about these reviews, is the faculty member does not have to do anything but complete the online form and the ITRC will do the rest.  Once faculty receive the reports and updates to their courses, the ITRC will work with them in implementing any improvements.

Complete the online form to request one or all three reviews for your course today!
