Kirk Hevener, an assistant professor of biomedical and pharmaceutical sciences, discusses the  advantages of narrow spectrum antibiotics in a video posted Sept. 12 on Contagion, a print and digital news publication that provides practitioners with disease-specific information  to improve patient outcomes and aid in the identification, diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of infectious diseases.
