Course Evaluation Response Rate Reaches 53% for Fall 2025
January 29, 2026
The new Watermark Course Evaluation system was launched for Fall 2025 courses and for the late 8 week and full semester courses, there was an overall response rate of 53%. Four thousand, five hundred and thirty (4,530) courses were evaluated with response rates for individual colleges ranging from 62% to 49%.
Watermark integrates with ISU Canvas and the Banner system to automatically import students and auto-refresh enrollment, ensuring that all students have the opportunity to provide anonymous feedback. Automatic notifications and embedded survey experiences in ISU Canvas made it easy for students to complete their evaluations on any device. Upon the conclusion of the evaluation period, faculty gained direct access to their evaluation results through the Watermark Dashboard.
If your college did not participate in the Watermark system this fall and you are interested in learning more about it, please contact Laura Ahola-Young, Vice Provost for Faculty Affairs to set up an informational meeting.
