March and April Admissions Highlights
May 15, 2025
In March, ISU Admissions Coordinators were in full swing with Idaho’s Higher Education Tour, visiting juniors from 26 high schools to share what Idaho State University offers. The momentum didn’t stop in April either, with 17 high school visits. While some team members were on the road, others visited with students on campus. There were 199 individualized campus visits and 14 group tours in March and April, during which we welcomed potential students on campus. We are so grateful for the faculty and staff who are willing to meet with our prospective students even during spring break.
In addition, our team attended 25 college fairs across Idaho, further extending ISU’s reach to prospective students and their families. March and April also showcased a large amount of communications, with over
- 602,750 emails
- 101,111 text messages
- 141,339 print mail pieces
For the third year, ISU Academic Signing Days were held again in March and April, and we welcomed three new schools this year. Our recruitment team visited 16 high schools in and around the Magic Valley, Southeast Idaho, and Treasure Valley. This event acknowledges and showcases academic excellence in a way similar to National Letter of Intent days. Starting at Renaissance High School on March 12, 2025, we visited 15 more schools throughout March and April, recognizing 1,071 scholarship recipients. As always, we are excited to celebrate future Bengals!
Lastly, Bengal Visit Day was on April 12, and we welcomed 2,183 students, parents, and guests on campus. This marks our largest attendance to date, with 377 more attendees than our previous high in 2023. Potential students and guests were able to immerse themselves in Bengal life by exploring academic departments, partaking in campus and housing tours, visiting two club and organization fairs, enjoying a food truck lunch, and experiencing on-campus events. Again, we thank our incredible faculty, staff, and current students who helped make this event possible!
