Center for Learning and Instructional Excellence Spring 2026 Faculty Learning Communities: Registration Now Open

The Center for Learning and Instructional Excellence is pleased to open registration for the Spring 2026 Faculty Learning Community (FLC) series. FLCs provide a dedicated space for faculty to connect with colleagues across campus and deepen their teaching practice. These collaborative learning communities offer a supportive environment to explore pedagogical challenges, experiment with new approaches, and enhance student learning.

This semester’s FLC topics include:

  • AI Integration Framework
  • Cultivating Care, Empathy, and Belonging for First-Generation Students, Scholars, and Professionals
  • Alternative Grading (book study—book provided)
  • Language Ideologies and Heritage Speakers Pedagogies Learning Community

Registration will remain open until 5:00 p.m. on January 23. After registration closes, participants will be contacted by their FLC facilitator(s) with additional details and to establish a meeting schedule. For additional information and to register, please visit our website.
