Center for Learning and Instructional Excellence: Call for Proposals

The Center for Learning and Instructional Excellence (CLIE) invites proposals from faculty interested in sharing their interests, expertise, and teaching insights through our upcoming programs.

All sessions are scheduled from noon - 1 p.m. and will be hosted in REND 129. Please follow the link to submit a proposal for Spring 2026:

Faculty Lecture Series – “One Thing Everyone Should Know About…”
Share a big idea, theory, book, or finding from your discipline or research that everyone should know. Target audience: faculty, staff, students, and community members. Stipend: $200
Master Teacher Series
Present innovative or effective teaching strategies that others can adapt for their own courses. Target audience: faculty and graduate teaching assistants. Stipend: $200

Faculty Learning Communities (FLCs)
Lead a semester-long discussion group focused on a shared teaching and learning theme—such as student engagement, technology, or a book club. Stipend: $600

All faculty, clinical faculty, and adjunct faculty are welcome to participate. These programs are just the beginning—CLIE will continue to offer workshops on high-impact practices, assessment, and more.
