Student Focus Group Participants Needed

March 29, 2023

The Institute of Rural Health recently received a grant to facilitate the integration of suicide prevention strategies across campus offices and programs, and to increase access to campus suicide prevention services for students at ISU.

As part of the grant, the Institute is conducting multiple focus groups with stakeholders across campus to gather information on barriers and facilitators to behavioral health services and suicide prevention programming for students at ISU.

Students are invited to participate in a focus group March 31 from noon to 1 p.m. Snacks and beverages will be served, and students will be asked their perceptions of the current campus resources and services that are available to address both emotional well-being and suicide prevention and suggestions for improvement.

If you are interested in participating or have questions, please reach out to Erika Coles at erikacoles@isu.edu or 305-924-8890.

The Idaho College/University Early Intervention and Suicide Prevention Strategies Grant is funded by the Idaho State Department of Education.
