RaeLyn Price Named Interim Director of CEWT

October 16, 2023

RaeLyn Price

RaeLyn Price recently took the helm of ISU’s Continuing Education and Workforce Training (CEWT) Programs.

Price’s previous role at CEWT was as the Health Programs Coordinator, a position she has held for over five years. She first joined CEWT as a CNA instructor in 2016.

Price’s career as a registered nurse began in 1987 at Bozeman Deaconess Hospital. In 1992, RaeLyn transitioned to the Women and Children’s Center at Bannock Regional Medical Center (BRMC). It was during her time at BRMC that she discovered her calling to combine her medical expertise with education. In 1993, she became a Lamaze Certified Childbirth Educator (LCCE), allowing her to guide and empower expectant parents through the childbirth process. She later transitioned to teaching CNAs with the desire to inspire empathy and excellence. In her role as the Health Programs Coordinator, she discovered a profound commitment and determination to explore solutions for fulfilling training needs across our CTE region.

When asked about her transition to Interim Director, Price stated, “I hold a strong passion for Career and Technical Education and its potential to significantly impact individuals' lives. At ISU Continuing Education Workforce Training (CEWT), we have the opportunity to work with individuals throughout our region to help them achieve their goals- whether this is through personal development or receiving training to embark on a new career path. I am deeply honored to have the opportunity to lead and work alongside a team of individuals who bring their unique expertise, dedication, and passion to our office. As a team, we create possibilities!”

CEWT offers non-credit courses at ISU. Programs offered include apprenticeships (HVAC, electrical, and plumbing), customized training, upskill & hobbyist classes, and healthcare programs.  CEWT also hosts a number of educational conferences throughout the year. The Construction Combine, Emergency Medicine Conference, and Safety Fest are among CEWT’s most popular conferences.
