Teaching Online with Moodle ISU Workshop Starts September 12

September 1, 2022

Teaching Online with Moodle ISU is an online faculty workshop for designing and delivering online courses using Moodle ISU. All workshop activities are designed to guide you through creating a quality online course using best practices for online teaching. The 8-week workshop is offered through the Instructional Technology Resource Center (ITRC), is completely free to ISU faculty and starts on Monday, September 12. The workshop is delivered asynchronously online and allows for flexibility and collaboration with colleagues across disciplines.

Here’s what previous participants have said about their experience:

"I have learned so much from this class about how to organize a course and the importance of centering it around course outcomes. This course has not only helped me with ways to put an asynchronous online course together, but has given me a framework for teaching in any format."

"I am glad I learned these tools to make my course accessible to every student that may choose to take my course. Access in education is a value of mine so learning these strategies will help me align my course to my teaching values."

If you’re interested in participating, you can register using the Teaching Online with Moodle ISU Online Registration Form. For questions and more information, contact the ITRC via email at itrc@isu.edu or by phone at (208) 282-5880.
