March 15, 2021

All are invited to a Research Computing Webinar on Tuesday, March 23 at 11 a.m. on Zoom.

This webinar is for all ISU students, faculty, and staff. We will be discussing how to use the High Performance Computing (HPC) resources in the RDC.

College of Science and Engineering Systems Administrator Jack Bradley will talk about the Thorshammer computer cluster and will share how to connect and use this HPC resource. Thorshammer is available for use by all ISU researchers. Dr. Matt Anderson will also join us to talk about the HPC resources offered by the INL to Idaho universities. Dr. Anderson is a High Performance Computing consultant tasked with directly assisting users in utilizing supercomputing resources. As part of the software consultant group, he provides hands-on and tailored assistance in all computational science research areas including software engineering and debugging, AI and machine learning, and emerging technologies.
