Policies with proposed changes are sent out periodically in ISU Today for faculty and staff comment. Current policies out for 30-day review can be found at the policy website. To submit feedback you may email policies@isu.edu or submit anonymously on the policy website.

  • ISUPP 1050 Clery Act Compliance 

 

New policy intended to establish requirements for complying with the Clery Act and increasing overall safety on and near Idaho State University property. It outlines the responsibilities of various employees and offices for the timely notification of emergencies, criminal actions, and suspicious behavior.

Expires: December 18, 2021 

 

Approved Policy Revisions:

 

  • ISUPP 1040 Alcoholic Beverage Permitting 

 

New policy governing the possession, consumption, and sale of alcoholic beverages on the Idaho State University Campus.  The policy is intended to formalize the process for responsible alcohol use on campus and bring ISU in alignment with State Board of Education requirements.

 

 

  • ISUPP 1020 Electronic and Information Technology Accessibility

 

Revision of an existing policy, intended to bring ISU in alignment with federal laws and regulations requiring that persons with disabilities have substantially equivalent opportunities to access education and administrative services, programs, and activities as those without disabilities. ALL ISU employees bear responsibility for helping the University become and remain compliant with federal accessibility laws. This policy outlines the specific responsibilities of all faculty and staff in ensuring web content, online teaching materials, and all electronic and information technology are accessible.
