News from Academic Affairs

October 7, 2021

We hope you are all enjoying the semester and gearing up for midterms!  There are two important items, with November 1st deadlines, that we would like to be sure you are aware of: (1) Annual Program Reviews and (2) Program Health Updates.

Annual Program Reviews

The Annual Program Review (APR) process is a yearly assessment report that is required for all programs.  Programs will fit into one of the following categories:

  • No external accreditation. Please submit the ISU APR brief report. All programs without external accreditation that are not currently in the seventh year self-study will complete the annual report template.
  • External accreditation with an accrediting body that requires an annual report. Please submit your most recent annual report.
  • External accreditation with an accrediting body that does not require any annual reporting.  Please submit the ISU APR brief report (or a report that aligns with your external accrediting body)

If you believe your Program does not fit into any of the above-mentioned categories, please contact Dr. Ann Hackert (annhackert@isu.edu).

Program Health Updates

Only programs that were listed in the Bottom 2 Quintiles for the Program Health process are required to submit a Program Health Update.  For each of these programs, your Dean has shared the feedback from the Administrative Council on the proposed action plans.  Please submit this short Qualtrics survey providing a current update on your action plan process.

Your point of contact for the Annual Program Review is Dr. Ann Hackert.  Please contact either Dr. Cindy Hill or Stefanie Shadduck with questions regarding Program Health Updates.  As always, please do not hesitate to reach out to us at any time!
