Crucial conversations

March 2, 2020

To honor our annual Employee Appreciation Week we are offering a Crucial Conversations workshop with limited seats available. Our very own ISU Registrar, Laura McKenzie, is a certified Crucial Conversations facilitator, and will be leading this professional development workshop.  Crucial Conversations is a 2-day course that will provide the tools to have high stakes conversations when emotions are high, and practical skills to handle difficult and important everyday conversations. The cost for this 2-day session is typically $250 per person through the Idaho Division of Human Resources (DHR).  However, for this week it is being offered FREE to ISU employees, and hosted on the Pocatello campus.

When: March 16 and 17, 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

Where: Pond Student Union Building Clearwater Room

If you are interested in taking this course or have an employee you feel would benefit from participating, please email us at training@isu.edu to register for the event. Seating is limited to 28 employees, so preference will be given to those who register first, and we respectfully request that if you register you are able to fully attend both days.  For questions, please contact Jasmine Bagley (howebagl@isu.edu/282-2519 or Stacey Marshall (marsstac@isu.edu/282-3081).
