Center for Advanced Energy Studies will celebrate 10th anniversary on Aug. 1

July 23, 2019

The Center for Advanced Energy Studies will celebrate its 10th anniversary from 4 to 6 p.m. Aug. 1 at the CAES Building in Idaho Falls, 995 MK Simpson Blvd.

poster about eventThe event will feature a barbeque, games, a bounce house, "slip, trip and fall demos" and cave tours.

It’s been 10 years since the ribbon-cutting ceremony took place for the Center for Advanced Energy Studies in Idaho Falls. That original ceremony was the culmination of a vision shared by the state of Idaho and the U.S. Department of Energy for a regional research and education campus in proximity to INL.

But CAES is more than just a building, as you know. It’s a philosophy of collaboration, enabling Bengals, Broncos, Vandals, and, since 2014, Cowboys, to collaborate with other world-class researchers and scientists to develop innovative solutions to the energy challenges facing the nation and the world.

We have accomplished much since that ribbon-cutting ceremony 10 years ago, and we hope you can come celebrate with us on August 1.
If you can make it, please RSVP by July 30 by taking the short survey mentioned in the flyer below or here:  https://surveymonkey.com/r/CAESsurvey
