ISU United Way Campaign November 1 - 30

November 4, 2019

The Idaho State University United Way Campaign will be held during the month of November. ISU has been a supporter of the annual United Way Campaign for many years, helping support many non-profit agencies that serve our communities in Idaho Falls, Meridian, Twin Falls, and Pocatello! We support all of our employees' personal choices in charitable giving. The annual United Way Campaign is one optional pathway for you to make a contribution to your charity of preference. Although donation forms will be distributed to each employee, this is an entirely voluntary event and all donations are by choice.

Because of corporate sponsorships, 100% of every dollar donated goes directly to the area programs the United Way supports, or you can designate your funds to any 501(C)3 organization on the donation form. If you wish to give to an ISU department, which has been a request of many of our past participants, on your donation form under the Tax-Exempt Charitable Organization section, write “ISU Foundation” - then the specific department you wish to support. For example: ISU Foundation - ISU Meridian Scholarship Fund, ISU Veteran's Sanctuary or ISU Benny's Pantry.

ISU Facilities is selling their famous ISU Calendars. These can be purchased for $10 each, or 2 or more for $9 each. To purchase, please contact Kim Wright at 208-282-3570 or email wrigkimb@isu.edu.

A link to the donation form and additional program details can be found on our webpage at  https://www.isu.edu/hr/employee-tools/united-way/. Please return forms to your campaign captain, or to ISU Human Resources at Campus box 8107, or send by email to training@isu.edu.

Throughout the campaign, we plan to share stories that highlight the good work United Way does in our communities. CASA, Court Appointed Special Advocates for Children, is an agency that United Way dollars support. Learn about how a little girl was able to read to her mother every night after being helped by this agency by clicking here https://www.isu.edu/media/human-resources/documents/training/UWSEI-Impact-Story---Cradle-to-Career.pdf
