Program Assessment Colloquium: Assessment for Student Learning and Success

Faculty are invited to participate in Program Assessment Colloquium: Assessment for Student Learning and Success on Oct. 22. There are two sessions that will help us incorporate our "why" into learning outcome assessment. 

Session 1 from 8:30 to 9:15 a.m. in the Wood River Room on the Pocatello campus in the Pond Student Union begins with an introduction by President Satterlee.  Daniel J. McInerney, a coach with the National Association of Learning Outcomes Assessment will be presenting on the topic "Assessment for Student Success and Learning: The Changing Role and Practice of Assessment." Faculty will learn how assessment helps us with our "why." Light refreshments will be served. Faculty can also participate at our outreach sites: Idaho Falls CHE 208, Twin 134, Meridian 509.

Session 2 from 1 to 2:15 p.m. in the Middle/South Fork Room in the Pond Student Union. McInerney will present "Closing the Loop in Assessment: Examples, Strategies and Changes." Attend for practical tips and ideas about using your assessment work and results for meaningful change. Outreach: Idaho Falls WEBRTC 31219, Meridian 683, Twin 134. Directions to participate using WEBRTC in Idaho Falls will be emailed to faculty and staff at that site the day prior to the event.
