ISU Marketing and Communications

Idaho State University’s Branch of the American Association of University Women is seeking book donations in preparation for its annual used book sale.

The fundraiser will be held in the foyer of Reed Gym in late September or early October. The AAUW mission is to advance equity for women and girls through advocacy, education, philanthropy and research.

Membership is open to anyone holding an associate or equivalent, baccalaureate or higher degree from a regionally accredited college or university. Idaho State University is an institutional partner of the Pocatello Branch and students enrolled at ISU are eligible to receive a free e-Student Affiliate membership.

AAUW does not accept magazines, textbooks, Reader’s Digest Condensed Books, or Harlequin romances. All other hardbound and paperback books are appreciated. A selection of used books is available for sale at the Pocatello Co-op on an ongoing basis. Proceeds from book sales are used for AAUW educational/career workshops.

Please leave donations in the wooden box in the entrance to the ISU Continuing Education Building located at 1001 N. 7th Street near City Hall during business hours on weekdays.

For more information contact Linda Leeuwrik at leeulind@isu.edu or (208)-226-6245.
