Idaho State University’s Lisa Kidder will be featured presenter at a National Quality Matters webinar

Idaho State University’s Lisa Kidder is the featured presenter at the national Quality Matters “QM Success Stories” webinar on May 27.

The title of Kidder’s presentation is “Looking Under the Hood: Making Course Design Transparent.” She is a senior instructional technologist at the ISU Instructional Technology Resource Center.

“I’m looking forward to share some of the strategies we have been using at ISU to implement Quality Matters and improve the design of online courses,” Kidder said. “It is exciting that ISU is being recognized as an example of a QM success story.”

Quality Matters approached Kidder after a presentation she made at a conference to feature her topics in one of their monthly webinars. Sessions start at 10 a.m. Information on the webinar is available at www.qualitymatters.org/success-stories.

“This is something we are very proud of in the ITRC and we are pleased that QM has approached Lisa,” said Blake Beck, director of Educational Technology Services and eISU.

Quality Matters is a faculty-centered, peer review process that is designed to certify the quality of online courses and online components. QM has received national recognition for its peer-based approach to quality assurance and continuous improvement in online education. QM is the leading provider of tools and processes used to evaluate quality in course design.
